Elon Musk publicly advocates for stricter U.S. voting laws, emphasizing the need for mandatory in-person voting with identification across all 50 states.

Musk argues that it is “insane” to vote without official identification and suggests that voting should be similar to purchasing alcohol, requiring government ID and in-person voting.

He also proposes extending election hours to allow more people to vote. (Trending: Michelle Obama Admits Being ‘Terrified’ Ahead of 2024)

Elong Musk wrote, “In the USA, you don’t need [a] government-issued ID to vote, and you can mail in your ballot.”

“This is insane,” he continued.

“We should require government ID and in-person voting (unless valid medical/ military/etc. excuse) like other countries do or like if you want to buy beer,” suggested the Tesla CEO.

Musk also countered an argument by pointing out that it was “racist to claim that an adult is incapable of obtaining ID!”

Musk continued to criticize the inconsistency of requiring vaccine IDs while opposing voter IDs with users.
