Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance at a House Oversight Committee hearing, where reporters swarmed him with questions, including asking about his drug use.
His attorney attempted to quiet the crowd.

A reporter asked Hunter Biden, “What kind of crack do you normally smoke, Mr. Biden?”
Biden was also asked, according to , whether he was high right then.
Real Clear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry wrote on X, “As Hunter Biden suddenly fled the contempt hearing over his subpoena defiance, ending a surprise appearance he staged with Democrats, reporters and others shouted a number of questions at him in the hallway, including ‘Hunter, are you on crack right now?’”
A video captured a reporters asking Hunter Biden, “What’s your favorite type of crack?” and “Are you on crack today?”
Rep. Nancy Mace asked, “Who bribed Hunter Biden to be here today? That’s my first question. Second question, you are the epitome of white privilege … what are you afraid of? You have no balls to come up here …”
Hunter abruptly left, with another representative calling him “a coward.”
