The reason for his departure is unclear.

Tacopina, who has a history of representing celebrities, gained attention for his involvement in Trump’s legal matters.

“President Trump has the most experienced, qualified, disciplined, and overall strongest legal team ever assembled as he continues to fight for America and Americans against these partisan, Crooked Joe Biden-led election interference hoaxes,” Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung stated.

His withdrawal marks another change in Trump’s legal representation, as the former president has frequently switched lawyers during various legal challenges.

“I was asked by my lawyer not to attend—’It was beneath me, and they have no case,’” Trump wrote.
