Tim Allen is returning as the voice of Buzz Lightyear in “Toy Story” 5.

This announcement followed Disney’s CEO Bob Iger’s announcement that a new sequel was in the works.

Sixty-nine yer-old Allen tweeted, “See ya soon Woody, you are a sad, strange little man, and you have my pity.”

“And off we go to a number 5! To infinity and beyond!”

Iger also announced that the studio was currently developing sequels for “Frozen,” “Toy Story,” and “Zootopia.

Allen said there was “no connection” between Evans (“Avengers” star) voicing the iconic spaceman in the origin-based film to his character in the animated franchise.

Allen said, “The short answer is I’ve stayed out of this because it has nothing to do [with my character].”

“This is a whole new team that really had nothing to do with the first movies.”

Allen added, “It’s a wonderful story.” It just doesn’t seem to have any connection to the toy.”

“It’s a little … I don’t know. It just has no relationship to Buzz. It’s just no connection. I wish there was a better connection to this.”

Allen said that any “Toy Story” movie about Buzz must include Tom Hank’s include Woody.”

“There’s really no ‘Toy Story’ Buzz without Woody.”

Hanks did admit he didn’t “understand” why Disney used Evans as the voice of Buzz for the “Lightyear” film.
