Jennifer Aniston Has A Big Problem With Americans Who Are Too Easily ‘Offended’

Hollywood A-lister Jennifer Aniston expressed her frustration about “a whole generation of people” who think the iconic show “Friends” is now offensive.

Aniston, who endorsed Joe Biden for president, appears to be learning what’s happening to young Americans.

The actress said, “There were things that were never intentional and others. Well, we should have thought it through, but I don’t think there was a sensitivity like there is now.”

“Comedy has evolved, movies have evolved,” Aniston added. “Now it’s a little tricky because you have to be very careful, which makes it really hard for comedians, because the beauty of comedy is that we make fun of ourselves, make fun of life.”

“You could joke about a bigot and have a laugh. That was hysterical. And it was about educating people on how ridiculous people were, and now we’re not allowed to do that,” she said.

“Everybody needs funny! The world needs humor! We can’t take ourselves too seriously. Especially in the United States. Everyone is far too divided.”

Making politically incorrect jokes isn’t the only controversy surrounding “Friends.” Series co-creator Marta Kauffman apologized for a lack of “diversity” in the series, specifically because the six main cast members were all white.

“I’ve learned a lot in the last 20 years,” Kauffman said of only casting black actors in small parts. “Admitting and accepting guilt is not easy. It’s painful looking at yourself in the mirror. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know better 25 years ago.”

She went on to pledge $4 million to aid black students at her alma mater, Brandeis University, as a form of atonement.

“It took me a long time to begin to understand how I internalized systemic racism,” she said at the time. “I’ve been working really hard to become an ally, an anti-racist. And this seemed to me to be a way that I could participate in the conversation from a white woman’s perspective.”

Aniston made headlines in August for revealing that she refuses to be friends with anyone who is unvaccinated against the coronavirus.

“There’s still a large group of people who are anti-vaxxers or just don’t listen to the facts,” Aniston said. “It’s a real shame,” she continued.

“I’ve just lost a few people in my weekly routine who have refused or did not disclose [whether or not they had been vaccinated], and it was unfortunate,” she added. Aniston has been publicly supportive of social distancing, wearing masks, and getting vaccinated.

The left-wing actress made political headlines again in October for her pro-abortion stance and a strong message to men.

“I repeat… no uterus, no opinion,” Aniston wrote to social media, arguing that men should not express an opinion on abortion.

Aniston has been fighting back after the Supreme Court upheld the Texas law that banned most abortions after six weeks if the unborn child has a heartbeat.
