Texas Judge Orders Joe Biden to Continue Building Border Wall

A federal judge ordered President Biden to continue building border wall using funds allocated by Congress under former President Trump.

Judge Tipton issued a preliminary injunction prohibiting Biden from diverting border wall construction funds.

Congress had approved billions for border wall in 2019, but Biden halted construction on his first day in office.

Texas and Missouri then sued Biden for failing to use the allocated funds for their intended purpose.

The judge’s order requires Biden to spend the funds on border wall construction as mandated by Congress.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said Biden acted improperly by refusing the funds and attempting to redirect them, showing desperation for open borders.

“Biden acted completely improperly by refusing to spend the money that Congress appropriated for border wall construction, and even attempting to redirect those funds,” Paxton stated. “His actions demonstrate his desperation for open borders at any cost, but Texas has prevailed.”

Immigration groups argued the ruling checks the administration’s lawlessness and forces compliance with immigration laws.

The Biden administration is “at war with our immigration laws,” Dale Wilcox of the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) said.

‘We are pleased the court checked the administration’s lawlessness here, and ordered it to build the wall the law says must be built,” Wilcox said.

The case is ongoing in federal court in Texas.
