Trump says Obama is ‘spitting in face’ of Americans

Trump has criticized reports that Obama has been making secret calls to the Biden White House to strategize for the election, accusing Obama of “spitting in the face” of Americans.

Biden frequently speaks with Obama, his former president and VP, while Obama calls Biden’s chief of staff and aides.

One adviser said Obama has always worried Trump could defeat Biden.

The two former presidents will join Clinton at a large Democratic fundraiser, with photos costing $100,000 and reception attendance $250,000, aiming to be the largest in Democratic history.

Trump used the event to rally fundraising, telling supporters in messages not to let Obama “humiliate” them and claiming Democrats aim it as their “biggest victory.”

“DON’T LET OBAMA SPIT IN YOUR FACE!” Trump wrote. “Tomorrow they aim to HUMILIATE us. It’s bad.”

Biden has outraised Trump so far this year but commentators note Clinton outspent Trump in 2016 but still lost.
