First Video of Fetterman Back on the Job Goes Viral, and It Doesn’t Look Good for the Senator

President Joe Biden isn’t the only Democrat facing major questions about his mental fitness for office.

53-year-old Democrat Senator John Fetterman was elected by Pennsylvania over renowned physician and professor Dr. Oz. Fetterman admittedly suffers from serious mental health problems and he was diagnosed with clinical depression after taking office in February 2023.

Photos and videos of Fetterman in March 2023 caught American off guard as his appearance looked much different than usual. This sparked rumors about a possible “body double,” which is a stand-in actor who pretends to be Fetterman.

After a months-long hospitalization, Fetterman is back serving in the U.S. Senate.

To debunk the rumors, Fetterman posted a video to Twitter, but it only sparked more concerns about him.

“I’m feeling great, 100 percent,” he said. “During my time, during the hospital, the fringey fringies really came up with a conspiracy that I have a body double.”

“I just want you that is just crazy,” he continued. That is not true.”

The video cuts to Fetterman walking through the door and talking to himself as a joke.

The rumors exist in the first place because of his deteriorating health despite claims that he is “feeling great.” The side-by-side photos are a powerful display of how he’s changed in a short time period following the election.

More from Western Journal:

It is understandable what Fetterman is trying to do in this video. He is having a little fun with the rumors about the body double and trying to make them look ridiculous, but the problem is that the rumors exist in the first place.

Not to mention, the fragile state of Fetterman’s health leads many people to believe that he has a body double in order to hide the real problems that he is facing.
