A cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was dismissed after openly supporting Donald Trump and voicing conservative views, raising questions about Hollywood silencing dissent.

Annemarie Wiley joined the show’s 13th season but was let go after producers edited out storylines involving her politics.

“She was open and proud to be Team MAGA and a staunch Donald Trump supporter,” one source stated.

“A cast member having polarizing views and the ladies taking her to task would have been part of a juicy storyline on any Real Housewives franchise, but after politics railroaded season 13 of the New York cast, producers just edited all of those segments out of the Beverly Hills season,” another source said.

As one of two Black cast members, she polarized others with her stances, particularly fellow cast member Crystal Kung-Minkoff, who was “disgusted” by Wiley’s support for Trump. Last year, Wiley’s husband expressed disagreement with policies allowing transgender women to compete against biological women in sports.

“Annemarie and Crystal Kung-Minkoff were at odds all season over Annemarie’s misrepresenting she was a doctor, but Annemarie’s politics really disgusted Crystal even more,” one source noted. “The Chinese-American openly struggled to understand why a woman of color would be aligned with Trump, who has made racist comments about various nationalities and colors.”

“One of the few things Annemarie didn’t lie about during the taping of the show was her political beliefs. She was open and proud to be Team MAGA and a staunch Donald Trump supporter,” they added.

“I have no issue with transgenders, but I do have an issue with athletes who are transgender women trying to compete against biological women. Not against the Wiley Women!” Annemarie’s husband and former NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley said on X. “Why can’t the dudes who transition to women actually empower women by competing against men?”

Others in Hollywood who have faced backlash recently include Jim Gaffigan for criticizing pedophiles in the industry and Yellowstone actor Forrie J. Smith for a mask-related incident on a flight.
