Landlords Send Biden a Brutal Message — File Lawsuit Over Private Property Infringement

Landlords are fighting back against the Biden administration.

The U.S. government is accused of unfairly treating landlords, refusing to allow them to collect rent or evict a person who refuses to pay it during the pandemic.

The Supreme Court ruled by a 5-to-4 margin that the eviction ban could continue, according to Reuters.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention extended the moratorium

Now landlords are fighting back. Here’s what they’re up to via Western Journal:

On Wednesday, according to Politico, the Alabama and Georgia chapters of the National Association of Realtors filed suit in federal court, alleging the White House “caved to political pressure” and reinstituted the moratorium “without providing any legal basis for its action.”

“The CDC appears to have acted in bad faith,” the lawsuit said.

In a statement Wednesday, an alliance of 11 housing industry organizations said “the administration itself noted it lacks the legal authority for a more targeted eviction moratorium.”

National Apartment Association President and CEO Bob Pinnegar said the new moratorium has landlords “irate,” with property owners saying they feel they were disregarded by the administration.

“We were really just a pawn in this process,” Pinnegar said of landlords’ reaction to the back-and-forth.

“Looking back at it, it appears to me that this was more about keeping together the Democratic caucus in the House for the upcoming infrastructure bill than anything else,” he said. “And so definitely, there’s a lot of frustration on the part of the industry.”

Former president Barack Obama faced major criticism over his initial 60th birthday party plans on Martha’s Vineyard. Approximately 475 people were planned to attend with another 200 individuals hired to help — a total of roughly 675 people.

Obama quickly changed his birthday plans and only close friends and family were invited. However, photos have surfaced from the birthday party that raise more questions.

Gold napkins, masks and backstage passes were emblazoned with 44X60, a reference to the 44th president’s 60th birthday, and bathroom amenities included antiperspirant wipes, a lint roller and Advil, according to the pictures.

Beckham, who reportedly performed a version of his hit “Birthday B—h” for the prez — who was also sung to by Alicia Keys and John Legend, later posted about the party.

“Had to delete everything due to the rules,” Beckham reportedly explained. “It was epic for sure. If any videos surface it’s going viral. He danced the whole time. Nobody ever seen Obama like this before.”

It was epic.
