Bombshell: Family Attorney Says Reckless Officer ‘Ambushed’ Ashli Babbitt, Wrongful Death Lawsuit Expected Soon

In a new statement from the lawyer hired by Ashli Babbitt’s family, Terry Roberts, he says the police officer “ambushed” Ashli and failed to give verbal warnings before he fired

“It’s not debatable. There was no warning,” Roberts alleged. “I would call what he did an ambush. I don’t think he’s a good officer. I think he’s reckless.”

Ashli Babbitt of California was killed during the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan.6.

A Capitol Police officer who remains unidentified fatally shot her as she tried to enter the Speaker’s Lobby outside the House Chamber. Babbitt was unarmed.

The family plans to file a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against the Capitol Police and the officer, the Washington Examiner reported.

Judicial Watch has issued a major announcement as well. The group has received 1160 pages of documents from Washington, DC’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) related to Air Force veteran and San Diego native Ashli Babbitt. Babbitt was shot and killed by an unidentified law enforcement officer as she attempted to climb through a broken window in the Capitol Building.

These new documents reveal multiple bombshell pieces of information. Videos show several officers standing in the crowd of protesters in which Babbitt was present.

The OCME submitted a request for permission to cremate Babbitt only two days after taking custody of her body. This allegedly occurred “due to the high profile nature” of Babbitt’s case.

Perhaps even more concerning, Babbitt’s fingerprints were emailed to a person supposedly working for the DC government, which resulted in Microsoft “undeliverable” messages written in Chinese characters being returned. You can read more about Judicial Watch’s statement here.
