Biden Begs His Handlers For Help With the Media, We Can’t Look Away

Joe Biden is frequently caught making comments on a live microphone that gives Americans a look at what’s happening behind closed doors.

During a high-level meeting at Camp David with the leaders of Japan and South Korea, Biden was caught begging his staff for help with the media.

Despite the serious problems facing America, Biden has held fewer press conferences than any other president in the past 100 years. He has been heavily criticized for often refusing to take questions.

When recently asked about the devastating death toll due to Maui wildfires, Biden notoriously said, “No comment.”

It appears that Biden is relying on his team to escort the media away so he doesn’t need to take questions. After demanding the press leaves, Biden is seen grinning and ignoring questions.

The purpose of the meeting between the three countries is to address security concerns about China’s military drills and activities in the area. Both Beijing and North Korea objected strongly to the meeting.

During Biden’s first two years in office, he held only 10 press conferences, compared to 23 for Donald Trump and 27 for Barack Obama. He has also been criticized for walking away from reporters who ask him questions he does not want to answer.

There are a few possible reasons why Biden avoids questions from the press. One possibility is that he is trying to avoid making mistakes. He is a gaffe-prone president, and he may be concerned that he will say something that will hurt his presidency if he answers questions from reporters off-the-cuff.

Another possibility is that he is trying to control the message. He may believe that he can better control what the public knows about his presidency if he only speaks to reporters when he is prepared.

A third possibility is Biden’s dwindling physical and mental energy. At 80 years old, Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history. When he receives a tough question, such as those from Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, he often grows agitated. “I knew you’d have a lousy question,” Biden snapped at Doocy who recently asked about his involvement in his son Hunter’s business activity.

Whatever the reason, Biden’s avoidance of questions from the press has been criticized by journalists and many members of the public. Critics argue that it is important for the president to be accountable to the people, and that he cannot do that if he is not willing to answer their questions.
