Alex Soros, the heir to George Soros’s sizable left-leaning nonprofit organization, recently met with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Capitol Hill.
This occurred shortly before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s scheduled visit to Capitol Hill.

Alex Soros has been actively engaged in matters related to the conflict in Ukraine and maintains “daily contact” with the Soros Foundation in Ukraine.
He has also held meetings with key figures in the Biden administration’s national security team.
Mark Leonard, who heads the European Council on Foreign Relations, an organization funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, has highlighted Ukraine as a primary area of focus for Alex Soros.
Leonard revealed that Alex is in “daily contact with the Soros Foundation in Ukraine” and engages with various governments to discuss their policies concerning Ukraine.
This recent meeting with Nancy Pelosi isn’t the first interaction between Alex Soros and prominent Democratic leaders, as he has previously shared photos with several Democratic figures he has met.
Alex Soros was designated as the heir apparent to his father’s empire.
Alex Soros and his father “think alike,” with Alex describing himself as “more political” His interests encompass U.S. political causes such as “voting and abortion rights, as well as gender equity.”
He has expressed a strong commitment to preventing Donald Trump from winning the 2024 election, indicating his willingness to allocate significant financial resources for this purpose, despite his desire to reduce the influence of money in politics.
He said “As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too.”
