Marieangela King, daughter-in-law of pop legend Cher, has accused the singer of planning the kidnapping of her husband Elijah Blue Allman.

King believes that Cher set up a kidnapping for Allman in December of last year, in which he was pulled from a hotel room in New York by several men.

“I am currently unaware of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts. I am very concerned and worried about him,” King had stated late in 2022. “I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by (Allman’s) mother.” (Trending: Biden Breaks Texas Town’s All-Time Record)

King had also stated that she was informed to refrain from any interaction with Allman in the fall leading up to the kidnapping. King said she was told that Allman was in “lockdown at a treatment facility.”

Allman has a history of drug problems that he has made public in recent years.

“I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband,” King emphasized.

The couple had filed for divorce, but King said they were attempting to make amends on their vacation to New York.

King also accused Cher of of telling her to vacate the home she shared with Allman, leaving it with him. (Trending: 8 Undeniable Facts About Joe Biden)

“I was not allowed to retrieve all my belongings from our primary home and residence, nor was I given the opportunity to inventory our assets,” King stated.

“We also have a storage unit that I have been unable to access which contains art, antiques, all our furniture from our second home that we had together in Beverly Hills and other assets accumulated during the marriage.” (Trending: Joe Biden’s Legacy, A Closer Look)

King had requested for the December divorce trial to be moved back, which was ultimately pushed to April, and then moved yet again in the spring, now set to take place at the end of October.
