After skipping out on yet another Republican presidential debate this week, Donald Trump came under fire from his competitors.
In response, the former President stated that it was “much more important” for him to “save” autoworkers that evening than for him to make an appearance at the event.
Despite his physical absence, Trump was a frequent subject matter among his opponents throughout the debate.
“I thought it was much more important, considering I have a 56-point lead, for me to be dealing with the UAW and the fact that the Biden Administration is going to destroy their jobs over the next two years by going all-electric vehicle,” Trump said on Wednesday. The debate was a TOTAL disaster.
I really hope the men and the women on that stage go home tonight and do some soul-searching.

While the debate took place, Trump was outside of Detroit assuring autoworkers that, in the case of a reelection, vehicle production would soon be “Made in America.”
“The crowd was incredible—unreal,” he exclaimed.
“I think we have great support to save the autoworker.”
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had a word for Trump on Wednesday evening, when he said, “Donald, I know you’re watching. You can’t help yourself.” (Trending: Illegal Alien Arrested For Disturbing Crime After Biden Release)
“You’re ducking these things. And let me tell you what’s going to happen. You keep doing that, no one here’s going to call you Donald Trump anymore.”
“We’re going to call you Donald Duck.”
“Anybody that would come up with that nickname shouldn’t be running for president,” Trump would later remark.
