In 2019, Hunter Biden received two wires totaling $260,000 from Chinese business partners with President Joe Biden’s Delaware home listed as the beneficiary address for the funds.

Hunter Biden’s former lawyer, George Mesires, said Hunter served with BHR “only as a member of its board of directors,” which was an “unpaid position.”

“In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China,” House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said in a statement. “We’ve already proved that to be a lie earlier this year, and now we know that two wires originating from Beijing listed Joe Biden’s Wilmington home as the beneficiary address when he was running for President of the United States.” (Trending: Biden Breaks Texas Town’s All-Time Record)

“When Joe Biden was vice president, he spoke on the phone and had coffee with Jonathan Li in Beijing, and later wrote a college letter of recommendation for his children,” Comer added.

“Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing?” he questioned. “Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the First Family’s corruption.”

BHR Partners has strong ties to Hunter Biden, where he served time on the board of directors, and exists as a private equity firm under the control of the Bank of China Limited. (Trending: 8 Undeniable Facts About Joe Biden)

An initial wire came through in the summer of 2019 for $10,000, followed by a $250,000 transfer from the chief executive officer of BHR Partners, Jonathan Li.

The records show Hunter Biden as the recipient, with President Joe Biden’s Wilmington home address listed on the wire.

Comer has been given access to numerous bank statements, as he believes the Biden family is guilty of obtaining millions in funds from various oligarchs throughout the course of Obama’s time as President.

The House Oversight Committee has additionally discovered that the Biden family was sent over $24 million in payments from overseas over the course of just a five year span, which surpasses the amount originally known by roughly $4 million. (Trending: Joe Biden’s Biggest ‘Scam’ of All)

Hunter had lived at the Wilmington address sporadically from 2017-2019, but it is unknown whether or not he was there when the money was wired. (Trending: Joe Biden’s Legacy, A Closer Look)

The transfer occurred in August of 2019, the same month that the then-Vice President told reporters he “never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else anything having to do with their business, period.”

Devon Archer, a previous associate of Hunter’s, told the Committee that President Biden shared coffee with BHR’s CEO, and even wrote letters on behalf of Li’s children for their college acceptance.

“In 2020, Joe Biden told Americans that his family never received money from China. “Joe Biden’s abuse of public office for his family’s financial gain threatens our national security. What did the Bidens do with this money from Beijing? Americans demand and deserve accountability for President Biden and the first family’s corruption. The Oversight Committee, along with the Judiciary and Ways and Means committees, will continue to follow the evidence and money to provide transparency and accountability.”

George Mesires, Hunter’s attorney in the fall of 2019, had clearly stated that Hunter “served only as a member of the board of directors, which he joined based on his interest in seeking ways to bring Chinese capital to international markets,” despite the transfer of funds just two months prior.
