Democrat Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. recently received substantial funding in the likes of over $2 million dollars following an event supported by rock star Eric Clapton.

Clapton gave a performance at Kennedy’s campaign event earlier this week, expressing his support of the 69-year-old presidential candidate.

The performance produced $2.2 million for Kennedy’s run against President Joe Biden. (Trending: Democrat Hoax Unmasked In Brilliant Takedown)

Access to the event reportedly cost individuals over $6,500 a piece.

“I am deeply grateful to Eric Clapton for bringing his musical artistry and rebellious spirit to my gathering in Los Angeles last night,” Kennedy shared.

“I sometimes think that in our divided society, it is music rather than any kind of intellectual agreement that has the most potential to bring us together again,” he added. (Trending: Illegal Alien Arrested For Disturbing Crime After Biden Release)

“Eric sings from the depths of the human condition.”

“If he sees in me the possibility of bringing unity to our country, it is only possible because artists like him invoke a buried faith in the limitless power of human beings to overcome any obstacle,” he remarked.

Despite artist Stephen Stills joining Kennedy and Clapton for dinner, the music star clarified that he isn’t backing Kennedy in the coming race.

Stills stated that he remains a strong supporter of President Joe Biden.

“I support President Biden,” Stills emphasized. “I was there as a guest to support Eric Clapton who performed.”
