Just this week, over 7,000 illegal immigrants have been held by Border Patrol agents in south Texas.

The migrants, primarily consisting of Venezuelan men, have been crossing the river by the hundreds before being apprehended in the Lone Star state.

On Wednesday, agents in Eagle pass had counted well over 2,000 migrants before noon. (Trending: Democrat Hoax Unmasked In Brilliant Takedown)

Most of the Venezuelans are gathering in Piedras Negras before going on to cross the river, as Mexican authorities have reportedly been unable to keep the vast numbers from moving north.

The majority of the illegals started their trip in Mexico City, where government officials gave them limited time to remain on Mexican soil.

The week began with an initial wave of nearly 2,000 migrants, overwhelming already maxed-out processing facilities.

Agents reportedly had no choice but to send migrants to nearby Texas shelters, nearly all of which were completely filled with migrants who arrived in the weeks prior. (Trending: Illegal Alien Arrested For Disturbing Crime After Biden Release)

Shelters reportedly had to begin forcing individuals out of their care regardless of whether or not they had the funds to travel elsewhere.

Mission Border Hope, a privatized shelter, was one of the facilities that had no choice but to send migrants on their way. Most of them lacked the money to get on a bus or fly, meaning they ended up in nearby towns. (Trending: Democrat Abruptly Leaves Party, Joins GOP)

Local towns have been inundated with migrants wandering around and seeking financial aid from locals in order to travel, or even eat.

It has been reported that hundreds, if not thousands more illegal immigrants are currently on their way to Coahuila, Mexico, where they will likely make their way to Eagle Pass, Texas in the coming days.
