Former President Donald Trump submitted a motion to delay the start of his fraud civil trial in New York, but the judge ruled against him.

The Trump Organization as well as Donald Trump and his son are being sued for $250 million by Democratic New York Attorney General Letitia James.

“It is hereby ordered that the motions are denied,” Judge Arthur Engoron said, who will preside over the trial. (Trending: Democrat Abruptly Leaves Party, Joins GOP)

In a separate civil suit, Engoron ruled that Trump’s companies overvalued their assets for years.

The Democrat-run courtroom claimed Trump overvalued his assets in documents used to secure loans and commit to deals.

Trump will be appealing the ruling.

Trump says James is conducting a “war of intimidation and harassment.”

Allen Weisselberg, the trump Organization’s former chief financial officer, pleaded guilty last year pleaded guilty to tax fraud.

James will reportedly call 28 witnesses. An additional 25 people are listed as possible witnesses.

Trump responded to the ruling by saying, “The widespread, radical attack against me, my family, and my supporters has now devolved to new, un-American depths, at the hands of a DERANGED New York State Judge, doing the bidding of a completely biased and corrupt ‘Prosecutor,’ Letitia James.”

“We are rapidly becoming a Communist Country, and my Civil Rights have been taken away from me,” he continued.

“A Highly Politicized Democrat Judge … simply rule[d], despite all of the evidence to the contrary, that I committed fraud, which is both ridiculous and untrue.”
