Entertainment reporter Kyndall Cunningham published a review of the film “Till” and hilariously claimed Whoopi Goldberg was featured in the film wearing “a distracting fat suit.”
In the film review, Cunningham said Goldberg plays the role of Alma Carthan “in a distracting fat suit.”
Goldberg responded on “The View” by explaining she wasn’t wearing a fat suit.
“I have to say something because there was a young lady who writes for one of the magazines,” Goldberg began. “And she was distracted by my fat suit in her review.”
“Now, I’m just going to say this. I don’t really care how you felt about the movie, but you should know that was not a fat suit,” Goldberg added.
“That was me. Yeah, and that was steroids, remember last year? I had a … and I was very …” Goldberg said in reference to the fact she was hospitalized last year.
Whoopi gets irritated by a bad review of her movie "Till" because one "young lady who writes for one of the magazines" and was "distracted by my fat suit."
"That was not a fat suit, that was me," she said.

Goldberg continued, “And I assume that you don’t watch the show, or you would have known that was not a fat suit. But I just want to let you know that it’s okay to not be a fan of a movie, but you want to leave people’s looks out. So just comment on the acting, and if you have a question, ask somebody. Because I’m sure, you didn’t mean to be demeaning.”
Cunningham’s review was updated at the bottom of the page. “Editor’s Note: This story has been updated to reflect that Whoopi Goldberg says she was not wearing a fat suit.”
