In an attempt to warm up Facebook (Meta) users to the use of artificial intelligence, founder Mark Zuckerberg has released AI-powered chatbots that resemble a number of popular celebrities, including Kendall Jenner and Tom Brady.

Youtuber Mr. Beast commented on the chatbots, saying he expects them to increase the popularity of AI platforms on the social media site.

Revealed at the Meta Connect 2023 conference, the chatbots include the faces of around 14 celebrities and influencers, which users will be able to interact with through various Meta platforms. (Trending: Navy SEAL Says Joe Biden Is A Disgrace

While not currently available, Zuckerberg hinted at the capability for chatbots to vocally respond coming within the next year, and has placed emphasis on the company’s AI plans, saying, “This isn’t just gonna be about answering queries.”

“This is about entertainment and about helping you do things to connect with the people around you.”

The news comes as both lawmakers and social media users have voiced strong concerns regarding the seemingly unrestricted potentials of AI technology, currently advancing at rates many believe to be dangerous to society-at-large.
