Mugshot of Suspect Who Kidnapped 9-Year-Old

A New York man allegedly kidnapped a 9-year-old girl and was caught after detectives discovered fingerprints he left on a ransom note.

Craig Ross Jr. allegedly snatched the young girl from a trail near Lake George, and was later seen by law enforcement placing a ransom note in a mailbox.

“The defendant did abduct [the victim] and wrote a ransom letter with the intent to compel the payment of a ransom for her,” wrote New York police.

“Within the camper, they located the suspect,”: Governor Hochul stated. “After some resistance, the suspect was taken into custody, and immediately the little girl was found in a cabinet, covered. She was rescued.” (Trending: 95-Year-Old Veteran Kicked Out of Nursing Home For Illegal Immigrant)

The victim, Charlotte Sena, was hospitalized before returning to family.

“We are just elated she came home,” said Charlotte’s aunt.
