Around 60 migrants, mostly made up of Iranian and Iraqi males, came head-to-head with Polish border agents when attempting to enter Poland by way of the Belarus border.
Polish guards were able to hold off and eventually deter the migrants from entering by covering them in pepper spray.

The MoD stated: “Defending the inviolability of the border is an obligation, but also the right of every state. We reacted to the actions of the Lukashenko regime inspired by Moscow.
Soldiers and service officers defending the Polish border faced and still face a real threat. We are grateful to them for this and we will continue to support them.”
The Gazeta Współczesna reported over 1,000 attempted entries at the Poland-Belarus border just in the month of September.
