Democrat Ilhan Omar was caught on camera strangely licking her lips while Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz pushed for the ousting of Kevin McCarthy.
McCarthy agreed on a deal with President Joe Biden in order to avoid a government shutdown, at which point Gaetz filed a motion to vacate.
While Gaetz was speaking on the House floor, Omar was seen licking her lips for nearly ten seconds.

McCarthy was ousted as speaker by the House following a 216-210 vote.
Social media erupted with comments about Omar.
“What on earth is that look for? Mad creepy,” one person responded.
“She is a disgrace to our country and government,” another person remarked. “These people should never be in congress ever.”
