House Speaker pro-tempore Patrick McHenry (R-NC) ordered Nancy Pelosi to vacate her office at the Capitol this week, following the ousting of now-former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Pelosi was sent an email regarding her eviction that read, “Please vacate the space tomorrow, the room will be re-keyed.”

The email went on to clarify that the office would now be allotted “for speaker office use.” (Trending: As Fauci’s Net Worth Surpasses $11 Million, Americans Take A Closer Look At His Disturbing Lies)

“With all of the important decisions that the new Republican Leadership must address, which we are all eagerly awaiting, one of the first actions taken by the new Speaker Pro Tempore was to order me to immediately vacate my office in the Capitol,” Pelosi stated following the eviction.

“Sadly, because I am in California to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to my dear friend Dianne Feinstein, I am unable to retrieve my belongings at this time,” she added.

“This eviction is a sharp departure from tradition,” Pelosi went on.

“As Speaker, I gave former Speaker [Dennis] Hastert a significantly larger suite of offices for as long as he wished.”

“Now that the new Republican Leadership has settled this important matter, let’s hope they get back to work on what’s truly important for the American people,” she exclaimed. (Trending: Illegal Immigrant Deported 9 Times Commits Heinous Crime

In addition to letting Pelosi stay in her office, former speaker Kevin McCarthy is accused of failing to uphold conservative principles and instead advancing Joe Biden’s radical left-wing agenda.

Eight Republicans voted with every Democrat who was present. The final vote was 216 to 210 in favor of McCarthy’s ouster. (Trending: Trump Makes The Biggest Promise Of His Political Career)

Republican Matt Gaetz, who introduced the motion, said McCarthy made an agreement when he became Speaker, but Congress still has had “no vote on term limits or on balanced budgets, as the agreement demanded and required.”

“There’s been no full release of the January 6 tapes, as you promised,” Gaetz added. “There’s been insufficient accountability for the Biden crime family.”

“Instead of cutting spending to raise the debt limit, you relied on budgetary gimmicks and rescissions so that you ultimately ended up serving as the valet to underwrite Biden’s debt and advance his spending agenda,” Gaetz explained.

“Mr. Speaker, you boasted in January that we would use the power of the subpoena and the power of the purse. But here we are eight months later and we haven’t even sent the first subpoena to Hunter Biden.”

“That’s how you know that the rushed and, you know, somewhat rattled performance you just saw from the speaker isn’t real. At this point during Democrat control over the House of Representatives, they had already brought in Don Jr. three times,” Gaetz said. (Trending: Woman Raised in USSR Says Biden’s DOJ Acts Like KGB)

“We haven’t even sent the first subpoena to Hunter Biden. Power of the subpoena. And power of the purse, only thing the 118th Congress is known for at this point is electing Kevin McCarthy speaker and underwriting Biden’s debt and unfortunately there’s only one of those things we can remediate at this time,” he added.

Gaetz concluded, “Our leadership right now is asking us to vote for a continuing resolution, a vote for a continuing resolution is a vote to continue the green new deal, a vote to continue inflationary spending, and the most troubling of fashions, a vote for a continuing resolution is a vote to continue the election interference of Jack Smith.”

“Chaos is Speaker McCarthy. Chaos is somebody who we cannot trust with their word,” Gaetz said as McCarthy looked down at his lap.

Prior to the vote, McCarthy reportedly told Gaetz to “bring it on.”

“That’s nothing new,” McCarthy said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

“Yes, I’ll survive. You know, this is personal with Matt. Matt voted against the most conservative ability to protect our border, secure our border. He’s more interested in securing TV interviews than doing something.”

He added: “So be it, bring it on. Let’s get over with it and let’s start governing.”
