Front Page of MSNBC.com Caught Displaying a Heinous Headline About ‘White Ignorance’ Being a ‘Powerful Weapon’

The front page of MSNBC.com showed a despicable headline that read, “Glenn Youngkin’s victory proves white ignorance is a powerful weapon.”

This harsh and incorrect characterization of Virginia Republican voters was displayed as the largest feature and the top story on the website.

The article went on to compare governor-elect Glenn Youngkin to President Donald Trump.

MSNBC writer Ja’han Jones claimed Republican voters are “intellectually lazy.”

“Angry, willfully ignorant white people was the key ingredient needed to elect a GOP governor,” he added.

“Critical race theory is a college-level field of study that’s not taught in Virginia K-12 schools, but it’s become a catchall phrase for intellectually lazy people — many of them white — who want to stigmatize any discussion about American racism” he wrote.

Jones claims Youngkin is an inexperienced businessman. He describes Youngkin’s political platform as “designed to shield Americans from the reality of the country’s racist history.”

Other MSNBC commentators have brought up race during the campaign and election.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid said, “Youngkin, like the Republican he is, filled the vacuum with inchoate fear of threats to the cherished historical narrative of a glorious history of unbroken white Christian great/goodness.”

Ja’han Jones worked at the HuffPost before joining MSNBC’s website.
