The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating a hate crime that occurred at Canter’s Deli, a restaurant known for its Jewish-style cuisine.
Antisemitic graffiti was discovered on the walls of the deli, prompting concerns about the growing number of antisemitic incidents across the country.
The Anti-Defense League (ADL) has reported a significant increase of nearly 400% in such cases following recent tensions in the Middle East.

Robert Trestan, the VP of the ADL, has expressed alarm over the rising threats faced by Jewish communities, including a disturbing rise in antisemitism within schools.
In light of these incidents, a Cornell student is now facing federal charges for making threats against Jewish individuals.
Authorities are urging the public to stand in solidarity against these acts of hate.
This is Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles. It has been in business since 1931. Yesterday, a mural in the parking lot showcasing the history of Los Angeles Jews was vandalized with hateful graffiti. This isn’t activism. It’s antisemitism. And it needs to stop. pic.twitter.com/3CjC0sd6rf
