Mexico Detains Two Iranian Migrants on FBI Watchlist

Mexican immigration authorities detained a group of five Middle Eastern migrants who were attempting to reach the U.S. border.

The arrests occurred at a checkpoint between Tecate and Tijuana, with the migrants traveling in a vehicle driven by a Haitian man.

Mexican officials reported that two of the apprehended males were on the FBI watchlist.

Additionally, the Haitian driver is expected to face human smuggling charges.
