The survey indicates 54 percent favor an alternative candidate, highlighting a growing dissatisfaction within the party.

Additionally, national and battleground state polling shows Biden trailing behind former President Donald Trump.

Biden’s decision to run for reelection has sparked controversy, with some Democrats urging him to step aside.

“Would you be running if Trump wasn’t running?” a reporter asked Biden.

“I expect so,” Biden said.

“But he is running, and — I just — I have to run.”
