Trump Hints Tucker Carlson As Potential VP

Former President Donald Trump expressed openness to considering Tucker Carlson as a potential running mate for the 2024 presidential race.

The idea of Carlson as a vice president aligns with Trump’s praise of the commentator’s “common sense” and his recognition of the powerful draw of conservative media voices.

“I like Tucker a lot. I guess I would consider him. He’s got great common sense.” (Trending: Meet The Ultra Rich Megadonors Behind Democrats)

“Impeachment didn’t work, twice, obviously. The indictments are not working, your poll numbers go up. When they raided Mar-A-Lago in August of last year, your numbers went up,” Carlson pressed Trump in a summer interview.

Trump responded, “I mean the four indictments, and maybe there’s more, I don’t know. These people are crazy,” he continued. “They’re savage animals,” Trump said of the radical left and the Biden Administration. “They are people that are sick, really sick.”

Trump’s musings and current lead in swing states are strategic signals to his base and potential rivals.

The possibility of Carlson as a vice-presidential candidate remains uncertain, but it underscores the evolving nature of politics in the age of Trump.
