Biden Looks to Clooney, Obama, Clintons for Fundraising

via Late Night with Seth Meyers

President Joe Biden’s campaign will host a major fundraiser in Los Angeles next month seeking support from former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton as well as actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

The mid-June event comes as Biden’s campaign reported raising over $90 million in March, significantly more than the $65.6 million raised jointly by Donald Trump’s campaign and the RNC in the same month.

With a cash reserve of over $192 million, Biden’s first-quarter fundraising totaled more than the $93.1 million the Trump campaign and RNC had combined at the beginning of April, demonstrating Biden’s financial strength heading into the general election.
