Fauci Finally Says 6-Feet COVID Rule ‘Sort of Just Appeared’

via MSNBC

Dr. Anthony Fauci acknowledged that the 6-foot social distancing guideline and the requirement for children to wear masks during the COVID-19 pandemic were not backed by strong scientific evidence.

During his testimony, Fauci mentioned that the 6-foot rule seemed to have been implemented without clear scientific support, and he was not aware of any studies that substantiated it.

“You know, I don’t recall. It sort of just appeared. I don’t recall, like, a discussion of whether it should be 5 or 6 or whatever,” Fauci said.

Fauci was asked, “Did you see any studies that supported 6 feet?”

“I was not aware of studies. That, in fact, that would be a very difficult study to do,” Fauci said.

Additionally, he did not remember examining any evidence supporting the use of masks for children.

Nevertheless, these guidelines were rigorously enforced, with punitive measures taken against those who disagreed.

The arbitrary enforcement of the 6-foot rule resulted in the closure of businesses and the restriction of gatherings. Masks have been associated with learning and speech difficulties in children.

Critics contend that Fauci promoted unscientific measures with authoritarian control, disregarding dissent as anti-science. His testimony contradicts the grave warnings used to justify lockdowns and mandates.

“I was vilified, investigated, and persecuted because I had the audacity to say the 6 foot distancing rule was not based on prevailing science. But some goofball out there said ‘follow the science,’ and the world went stupid,” one X user wrote.

Upcoming public testimony will give Fauci a chance to explain imposing policies lacking evidentiary support that caused major societal disruptions.

“Do you recall reviewing any studies or data supporting masking for children?” Fauci was asked.

“I don’t recall specifically that I did,” Fauci said. “I might have.”
