Harris Campaign Looks to Conceal Radical Record

via CBS

The Kamala Harris campaign is reportedly strategizing to downplay her progressive record as a senator and vice president, which has been characterized as radical by various sources, including GovTrack, which ranked her as the most radical senator in 2019.

Her controversial positions include co-sponsoring legislation to protect undocumented immigrants, supporting Medicare for All, advocating for the Green New Deal, and backing a ban on fracking.

“Joe Biden’s legacy of accomplishment over the past three years is unmatched in modern history,” Harris said.

“In one term — he has already — yes, you may clap. In one term, he has already surpassed the legacy of most presidents who have served two terms in office.”

Given concerns about her appeal among independents in swing states, Harris’s team plans to shift focus from her past views to her accomplishments as vice president.

Despite attempts to conceal her record, sources have indicated that Harris will not distance herself from Biden’s policies or legacy, emphasizing the administration’s achievements in her campaign messaging.
