Country music star Loretta Lynn died at her home in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
She was nominated 18 times for a Grammy Award and won 3 times. Lynn had 24 number-one hit singles and 11 number-one albums.

Her biggest hits came in the 1960s and ’70s, including “Coal Miner’s Daughter” and “You Ain’t Woman Enough.”
Lynn received numerous awards from the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music.

She is the most awarded female country recording artist and the only female ACM Artist of the Decade (1970s).
She was also well known for the hits “The Pill,” “Don’t Come Home a Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” “Rated X” and “You’re Looking at Country.”

Lynn often appeared in floor-length, wide gowns with elaborate embroidery or rhinestones.
Her longtime personal assistant and designer Tim Cobb created many of the gowns.

She was the daughter of a coal miner who turned country music icon. Lynn toured for 57 years and stopped after suffering a stroke in 2017. She also broke her hip in 2018.
Lynn passed away at 90 years old.
