Actor Kevin Costner playfully teased “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg for abruptly going to a commercial break during his appearance on the show, interrupting his discussion on Native Americans and the clash of cultures in the United States.
Costner humorously urged Goldberg to take control and continue the conversation, eliciting laughter from the audience.
“Oh, OK. I just — yeah, OK,” Whoopi said under pressure.
“Take control of this Whoopi, honestly,” Costner said. “Tell those sponsors to stand down, we’re talking!”
The interview touched on Costner’s latest film “Horizon: An American Saga,” his family life, and past movie roles like “Field of Dreams.”
Costner shared anecdotes about his career, including insights on film choices and experiences.
“Well — yeah,” Goldberg said.
“There was a lot of magic about that little movie,” Costner said.
The upcoming release of “Horizon” was highlighted in the episode, with details on its premiere and subsequent chapters, adding to Costner’s diverse acting legacy encompassing Western-themed films and his current role in the popular series “Yellowstone.”
