Don Lemon Goes To Blue State, Surprised By Trump Supporters

via WSJ

Former CNN host Don Lemon expressed surprise at the strong support for former President Donald Trump among visitors in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

During his interviews on the boardwalk, several individuals voiced their backing for Trump, citing concerns about Vice President Kamala Harris’s readiness and experience for the presidency.

One man highlighted economic reasons for his support, stating that he felt financially better off under Trump’s administration.

Lemon attempted to counter this by citing economic successes under the Biden-Harris administration, but his claims were met with skepticism and laughter from interviewees.

“I know you feel that way, but that’s not actually what the record shows. The economy is actually better under Biden,” Lemon argued, causing the man to burst into laughter.

Another supporter criticized the Biden administration’s immigration policies, expressing frustration over the perceived influx of illegal immigrants.

“All the people that came to this country legally, it’s not fair that they’re letting all 10,000 to 15,000 people or 20,000 people here illegally. Have you seen San Diego?” the man said.

“They’re coming off the boats, off the water right here, off the ocean. Did you know Biden was flying them in? Did you know Biden was flying them in? Did you, you didn’t know that?”
