Four men have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Johnny Wactor, a former “General Hospital” star, who was killed in May while trying to stop a catalytic converter theft in Los Angeles.
The suspects—Robert Barceleau, Leonel Guiterrez, and Sergio Estrada, all 18, along with 22-year-old Frank Plano—face charges related to the murder and accessory to the killing.
Their arrests followed evidence uncovered by the LAPD’s homicide bureau, leading to searches of the suspects’ homes.
Wactor was shot on May 24 while he was leaving work; he later died in the hospital.
The police had previously sought public assistance in identifying the suspects and released images of the getaway vehicle. Wactor, 37, was known for his role as Brando Corbin on “General Hospital” from 2019 to 2022 and had acted in several other TV shows and films.
