Mother of Woman Allegedly Killed by Illegal Immigrant Slams Biden Admin

via NBC

The tragic murder of Rachel Morin, a mother of five, by an illegal immigrant from El Salvador has fueled outrage and criticism towards the Department of Homeland Security and Secretary Mayorkas’ response.

Mayorkas’ lackluster acknowledgment of the victim and his denial of responsibility for the crime have intensified anger among the public.

“Jim, first and foremost our hearts break for the children,” Mayorkas said. “The families, the loved ones, the friends, of the individual who was, uh, murdered.”

“The woman,” he said. “The mother.”

“It’s a completely political statement because they’re not even willing to acknowledge that she was a female, a mother, a daughter,” the victim’s mother, Patty Morin said.

“It totally depersonalizes her. And makes her an object.”

The incident has drawn widespread attention to the consequences of lax border enforcement and the impact of illegal immigration on violent crime, leading to calls for accountability and a reevaluation of security measures.

“A criminal is responsible for the criminal act,” Mayorkas said.

“The criminal who committed this heinous act should be held accountable to the full extent of the law. And forcefully so. That is my response.”

Patty Morin’s emotional plea for recognition of American citizens as real individuals, not statistics, has shed light on the need for a more compassionate and proactive approach to protecting the nation’s security and its people.

“My message is that these are American citizens. These are the people that help to strengthen our country. These are the men and women that keep our country going, our economy going,” Morin said.

“Our families, our churches. This is the backbone of America. Us. Americans.”

“To not even acknowledge that my daughter is a person … To categorize her as a statistic, it just shows how impersonal they are ….”

“Callous,” Fox News’ Laura Ingraham cut in.

“Yes,” Morin said. “And how they don’t value life.”
