UFO-looking vehicle pulled over in Oklahoma

via Fox

A spaceship-like vehicle en route to a festival in New Mexico was pulled over by Oklahoma Highway Patrol for an obstructed tag, with Trooper Ryan Vanvleck taking a selfie with the unique car.

The driver was reportedly heading to the “UFO Festival” in Roswell, celebrating extraterrestrial phenomena.

“These friendly humanoids, who have come in peace, are heading west to Roswell, NM for a festival.” Crawford County Sheriff’s Office officials wrote online.

Missouri deputies had also stopped the same driver in the same vehicle for a lane violation and an expired license plate.

Despite the violations, the driver received only a written warning, with authorities sharing the encounter as a lighthearted social media post due to the driver’s good nature and the vehicle’s unusual appearance.

“Given the good nature of the driver and the interesting nature of the vehicle, we opted to provide a fun social media post for our community. It was a great interaction and we wished him safe travels to his destination,” Crawford County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Information Officer and Undersheriff Major Adam Carnal said.
