Biden Reveals Nickname of Best Friend

via Fox

During a speech at the NAACP National Convention, President Joe Biden fondly shared memories of his childhood friend Richard “Mouse” Smith, who was the former president of the NAACP’s Delaware branch.

Biden recounted a story involving a confrontation with a tough individual named CornPop from his days as a lifeguard in the projects, where he claimed to have stood his ground against CornPop with a chain.

“One of my best friends, we used to, when I was a lifeguard in the projects, he was a, his name was…..nickname was ‘Mouse,’” Biden said.

The President attempted to highlight camaraderie and trust between Biden and Smith during their youth, as noted previously in a Time Magazine article penned by Smith.
