New Details Emerge Regarding Trump Shooter’s Social Media

via Inside Edition

Investigators are analyzing the online footprint of Thomas Matthew Crooks, the individual behind the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

Limited social media presence has been found, with a confirmed account on the messaging platform Discord, which has since been deleted.

Discord, known for gaming communities, operates through private servers that limit external visibility and sharing among specific members.

Despite some criticism related to security monitoring, Crooks’ account was reportedly underutilized with no indication of premeditated plans or political discussions.

“We have identified an account that appears to be linked to the suspect; it was rarely utilized and we have found no evidence that it was used to plan this incident or discuss his political views,” a Discord spokesperson stated.

Details have also emerged about Crooks’ activities leading up to the attack, including visits to a shooting range, a store for supplies, and the eventual positioning on a rooftop near the rally site.

Moreover, an improvised explosive device found in his vehicle raised concerns about potential distractions during the attack.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover any further motives or planning details related to the incident.
