Harley-Davidson Sparks Boycott Call for Going ‘Totally Woke’

Conservative influencer Robby Starbuck called for a boycott of Harley-Davidson, claiming that the company’s recent LGBTQ+ initiatives and diversity policies conflict with the values of traditional bikers.

Starbuck criticized Harley’s corporate practices, which include hosting an LGBTQ+ boot camp and requiring employees to undergo DEI training, asserting that these efforts are “totally woke” and not representative of its customer base.

He pointed to Harley’s membership in the LGBT Chamber of Commerce in Wisconsin as evidence of its ideological stance, which he believes opposes many bikers’ values.

Starbuck, who successfully pressured other companies to retract similar initiatives, questioned whether riders want their spending to support corporate policies that promote an ideology at odds with their beliefs.

“I don’t think the values at corporate reflect the values of nearly any Harley-Davidson bikers,” Starbuck stated.

Additionally, he highlighted CEO Jochen Zeitz’s commitment to environmental sustainability, including a goal for an all-electric vehicle lineup by 2030.

“Do Harley riders want the money they spend at Harley to be used by corporate to push an ideology that’s diametrically opposed to their own values?” Starbuck wrote.
