Christina Sandera, Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner, passed away on July 18 at the age of 61 due to cardiac arrhythmia, with atherosclerotic coronary artery disease listed as an underlying cause.
Sandera’s death was officially classified as natural, listed as an “atherosclerotic coronary artery disease,” which an autopsy confirmed before her cremation.
The couple had maintained a low-profile relationship since meeting nearly a decade ago at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant.
Although they were not married, Eastwood expressed deep sorrow over her loss, stating, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.”
Eastwood’s daughter, Morgan, also mourned Sandera, calling it a “devastating loss” for their family. Eastwood has been married twice before and has eight children.
“A devastating loss for our whole family,” Morgan wrote. “Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad. You will be missed.”
