via YouTube

Aaron Judge hit his 300th career home run on Wednesday night, achieving the milestone in just 955 games, making it the fastest in MLB history, surpassing the previous record held by Ralph Kiner by 132 games.

Judge’s eighth-inning home run against the Chicago White Sox extended the Yankees’ lead to 9-2 and marked his 43rd of the season.

He leads the majors in several categories, including home runs, RBI, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage, and is on track to secure his second MVP Award.

After a rough start to the season, hitting only .197 as of May 2, Judge has dramatically improved his performance, hitting .387 with an OPS of 1.342 since then.

His success helps the Yankees maintain a narrow lead in the AL East with a 72-50 record.
