Another Outbreak? WHO Issues Warning About Virus Spreading

via CBC News

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global emergency in response to an outbreak of mpox (monkeypox) that has led to over 14,000 infections and 524 deaths across 13 countries this year, primarily affecting the Democratic Republic of Congo.

WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized the need for a coordinated international response, labeling the situation as “very worrying.”

“Today the emergency committee met and advised me that in its view, the situation constitutes a public health emergency of international concern,” Ghebreyesus said.

However, the declaration has sparked skepticism and conspiracy theories on social media, with users accusing the WHO of being a “terrorist organization” and suggesting that the emergency is politically motivated ahead of the 2024 U.S. elections.

“Dr. Tedros is a Pathological Liar funded by Bill Gates that’s taking direction from the CIA, WEF and the UN to implement another ‘Pandemic’ as a distraction for the upcoming American Election. Listen to NOTHING from this Transnational Criminal Cartel,” one X user wrote.
