Trump Lays Down The Law After Olympic Boxer Dominates Female Opponent

via CNN

Following the controversial bout between Imane Khelif and Angela Carini at the Paris Olympics, former President Donald Trump expressed his views on social media, stating, “I WILL KEEP MEN OUT OF WOMEN’S SPORTS!”

Khelif, who is recognized as a woman but has tested positive for Differences of Sexual Development (DSD), faced criticism over perceived advantages due to her condition, sparking debates about fairness in women’s sports.

While the International Olympic Committee supported Khelif, stating that the disqualification by the International Boxing Association was arbitrary, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also voiced concerns about the fairness of the competition.

The Committee stated that Khelif and another competitor “were the victims of a sudden and arbitrary decision” and that “[t]he current aggression against these two athletes is based entirely on this arbitrary decision, which was taken without any proper procedure – especially considering that these athletes had been competing in top-level competition for many years.”

“All athletes participating in the boxing tournament of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 comply with the competition’s eligibility and entry regulations, as well as all applicable medical regulations set by the Paris 2024 Boxing Unit,” the statement added.

“As with previous Olympic boxing competitions, the gender and age of the athletes are based on their passport.”

“It is a fact that with the levels of testosterone present in the blood of the Algerian athlete the race at the start does not seem fair,” Meloni said.

“This, from my point of view, was not a competition on equal terms.”

The incident has prompted widespread media coverage, focusing particularly on Trump’s remarks and the surrounding outrage, framing it as part of a larger culture war narrative.
