Sean “Diddy” Combs is being sued by a businessman identified as “John Doe,” who alleged that Combs made an attempt to sexually assault him during a Ciroc vodka launch event in 2022. The lawsuit alleges that Combs, who was reportedly drunk, exposed himself and sexually assaulted the plaintiff before he was interrupted by a professional athlete.
“Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff’s genitals through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner,” the lawsuit stated.
“Plaintiff, shocked and disoriented, frozen momentarily and did not know how to respond to the weirdly inappropriate sexual advance made by Combs,” the suit added.
The businessman claimed he fled the party immediately after the incident.
The lawsuit is part of a larger series of civil suits against Combs, who has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct, asserting confidence in his legal defense.
“This case is unique, in part because of the number of individuals levying allegations against Mr. Combs due to his celebrity status, wealth and the publicity of his previously settled lawsuit,” Combs’ lawyers wrote.
“This has had a pervasive ripple effect, resulting in a torrent of allegations by unidentified complainants, spanning from the false to outright absurd.”
“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” his lawyers stated.
“In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone — adult or minor, man or woman.”
Combs is currently in federal custody facing charges related to racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution.
