MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski recently accused Donald Trump of threatening women’s safety. Brzezinski made the claim after reading a controversial article that accused Trump of admiring Hitler’s generals and showing insensitivity toward a fallen U.S. soldier.
“His cozying up to dictators, his obsession with Hitler that has now come out, what he has said about our veterans, and what he wants to do with the military against his political adversaries, it’s all huge news,” Brzezinski said.
Brzezinski expressed concerns about the future of women’s rights under Trump, saying, “This is the future that we’re looking at in the next Trump term, if there is one.”
“But this is what voters know right now, that he is killing us. I’m talking about us women. He’s killing us.” Brzezinski said. “He is putting us at risk. He is making us afraid to have babies. He is putting our reproductive health at risk, and some women have died already because of this.”
“I understand that people who are busy and are just tapping in may not be able to comprehend because we’ve been free, we’ve been comfortable,” Brzezinski added.
The Atlantic accused Trump of disparaging the burial costs of U.S. Army Specialist Vanessa Guillén, alleging he used derogatory language regarding her heritage.
Mayra Guillén, Vanessa’s sister, quickly responded to The Atlantic’s article, denouncing it as politically motivated. She emphasized that Trump had treated her family with respect and stated her intention to vote for him.
