NY AG Letitia James Vows to Continue Case Against Donald Trump

New York Attorney General Letitia James revealed that she is gearing up to take legal action against President-Elect Donald Trump and his family. She previously alleged that Trump had misrepresented the value of their properties to secure more favorable loan terms and tax benefits.

“We did not expect this result, but we are prepared to respond to this result. And my office has been preparing for several months because we’ve been here before,” James said.

After winning her case, Trump was fined over $350 million.

James emphasized her commitment to uphold the law and protect New Yorkers’ rights in response to Trump’s victory.

“We faced this challenge before, and we use the rule of law to fight back, and we are prepared to fight back once again, because as the Attorney General of this great state, is my job to protect and defend the rights of New Yorkers and the rule of law, and I will not shrink from that responsibility,” James said.

“We’re ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York, as the governor outlined,” James added. “So, despite what has happened on the national stage, we will continue to stand tall in the face of injustice, revenge or retribution.”

Trump allies have been quick to come to Trump’s defense.

“I dare you to try to continue your lawfare against President Trump in his second term,” conservative lawyer Mike Davis said.

“Listen here, sweetheart,” Davis added. “We’re not messing around this time, and we will put your fat [expletive] in prison for conspiracy against rights. I promise you that.”
