Tulsi Gabbard, who recently joined the Republican Party, has been nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to take on the role of Director of National Intelligence (DNI).
Gabbard, a former Congresswoman and current Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, is known for her impressive shooting skills, with several videos showcasing her proficiency at the gun range.
While being skilled with firearms may not be a requirement for the DNI position, it certainly adds to her appeal among supporters.
There is confidence that she will be confirmed by the Senate.
